Is Albatrace free?
Yes, you can start free. The free plan gives you 3 traces a month, and auto and manual traces both count toward that. Free exports go up to 720p and carry a small Albatrace watermark. You don't need a credit card to start.
What does Pro cost?
Pro is $9.99 a month or $79 a year. You get unlimited traces, 1080p exports, and no watermark. The monthly plan starts with a 7 day free trial. The yearly plan doesn't include a trial.
Does it run in a browser, or do I need an app?

Does it work with handheld or shaky phone video?
It can. When the camera moves during a clip, from a shaky hand, a pan, or a zoom, the tracer can look like it slides across the video. Camera calibration fixes that. You tap a few things in the scene that never move, like a tree, a railing, or a flag pole, and Albatrace works out how the camera moved so it can hold the line steady. A steady clip still gives the best result, so prop your phone on a bag or a cart if you can.
How does it work?
Upload a video of your shot. Tap the ball at the moment of impact, then find the frame where it lands and tap there too. Albatrace draws the tracer over the flight, and most short phone clips are ready in a few seconds. Then download the video and share it.
What's the difference between Auto Trace and Manual Trace?
Auto Trace does the work for you. You tap impact and landing, and it finds the ball's flight and draws the line. It can struggle in poor light or with low quality footage. Manual Trace gives you the controls for tricky clips. Quick Trace draws an arc you shape by dragging a few handles. Keypoint Trace lets you step through frame by frame and mark the ball yourself for a precise line.
Can I fix a trace that looks wrong?
Yes. Every trace is editable. Drag the arc handles until the line follows the real flight, and the preview updates as you go. For the hardest clips, Keypoint Trace lets you place the ball yourself.
